"The APL experience has been a natural fit for my students in my classroom. The APL project aligns with the LCPS strategic goals. My work with Ms. Rofman has helped me explore deeper learning in my classroom. I first began with focusing on student voice and choice. Ms. Rofman shared resources to help with this task. I was able to integrate voice and choice immediately with our daily math talks. I will continue to use student voice and choice in giving my students choices with their math centers. I look forward to seeing them become more independent and empowered to make meaningful choices. My current goal is elevating the thinking in small math groups.  Ms. Rofman has shared many strategies with me to try out many different activities. Ms. Rofman is there to guide and provide resources. It has benefited my students and my teaching by taking part in the APL experience".
